Who I Am

Dalma Sofiyah

Singer-Songwriter, Activist,
Trauma Recovering INFP, 4w5, Forest Fairy

Experiencing a shift in religious beliefs can be a profound and personal journey. As an ex-evangelical, I went through a process of questioning, introspection, and reevaluation of my faith. Experiencing abusive behavior from numerous sources led me on a journey of self-discovery and data research. Using social science as a guide, I created this website to share evidence-based information on social issues.

Finding solace in the online community has been a gift. Connecting with others who share similar experiences, exploring different spiritual or philosophical ideas, or engaging in self-reflection and personal growth is powerful.

Over and over again, I take off my rose-colored glasses and learn about this world I get to exist in. Join me in singing and writing away the pains of the past and moving forward in grace.
